INGUINAL HERNIA SURGERY
TECHNIQUE BY ROBOT TAPP
- (Transabdominal Preperitoneal approach)
Surgery time
- 45 min – 150 min (Unilateral / Bilateral)
Necessary preoperatory tests
- According to age and comorbidities.
- Complete blood test / ECG / Assessment by Anaesthesia.
Approximate time of admission
- OMS (same day discharge) – 24h.
Patient recovery
- Once the patient is discharged, he/she may begin to carry out some of the activities of daily living.
- Normally, within a week of the operation, the patient should be able to return to normal life (this does not include returning to work).
