Rheumathology unit treats diseases of the locomotor system, (tendinitis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, spondylitis and gout among other), and diseases from the systemic connective tissue (lupus, scleroderma, Sjogren, uveitis …) and bone metabolism (osteoporosis, paget, etc …).

Musculoskeletal diseases are generally very common in the population (it is estimated that in Spain 22.6% of the population suffer from it), making them one of the most prevalent diseases.
