Eivi-Andros: Early prevention and diagnosis
EIVI-ANDROS is a disruptive, comprehensive program aimed at preventing the most frequent benign and malign urological conditions, fighting the effects of ageing on men’s mictional (prostate or bladder issues) and sexual quality of life, and achieving an early diagnosis of the most frequent pathologies. The program benefits from the latest advances regarding analytical testing, image-guided diagnosis, and image-guided studies allowing selective diagnoses to be performed and risk levels to be established. We have a cross-disciplinary team including rehabilitators, physical therapists, psychologists-sexologists, endocrinologists, and cardiologists as a complement of the urologist and the andrologist when required.
Annual routine check-ups are advised to all male patients from the age of 45. These check-ups are aimed at early detecting prostatic growth (benign prostatic hyperplasia) and prostatic cancer, and evaluating sexual function. Our final goal is MALE HEALTH.
Andrology and Sexual Medicine
Our team will use the best diagnostic techniques in order to preserve your sexual and genital health.
Your lack of sexual appetite, erectile dysfunction, early ejaculation, or infertility can be addressed. Our ability to interact with the Laboratory –sperm improvement and diagnosis techniques–, the endocrinology team – hormone treatments–, the gynecology team – for your partner’s study–, sexologists’ psychological support, and our expertise when it comes to solving problems requiring surgical intervention provide you with a whole array of possibilities ensuring your sexual health.
We also offer contraception –vasectomy– and seminal restoration –vaso-vasostomy– techniques as part of family planning techniques.
Lithiasis
Lithiasis is defined as the development of stones in the kidney, ureters –ducts connecting the kidney and the bladder–, bladder, or urethra (duct connecting the bladder with the outside) which cause pain –renal colics– and urinary bleeding, and may damage kidney function ultimately.
Lithiasis treatment requires an accurate diagnosis using image-guided tests such as X-ray, ultrasonography, CT-scan-urography and/or Magnetic MRI.
Our team will offer you the most disruptive endo-urological –endoscopic–, laparoscopic, and minimally invasive surgical techniques available today to break up and remove the stones using the laser
