In the oncology service, treatment and follow up of neoplastic diseases (colon cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, gastrointestinal tumors, gynecological, genitourinary, etc…) is carried out.
In the admission area intravenous chemotherapy treatment and antibodies are carried out. As well as oral outpatient treatments (hormonal, oral chemotherapy, new biological therapies) toxicity controls, and follow-up of the evolution of the aforementioned pathologies.
This service is in coordination with the surgical team for these tumors that need multidisciplinary treatments, which can include, surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, hormone therapy and / or antibodies.
